On the ninth day, we went to Maternity and
Child health hospital. Unlike Korea, the
service at Maternal and Child health hospital was well made. They had most updated tools for children and impregnate mothers. First, there were two different services
offered in Maternity and Child health hospital: Regular and VIP customers. We haven’t been the rooms for regular
services, but there were more than enough equipment within VIP infant care
room.
There were two beds for mother and the guardian. Also, there was a baby bed for baby to sleep in. Additionally, there were separate restrooms for babies and the mothers. Lastly, there were tools to help mothers and babies to rest when needed.

Later that day, we were supposed to visit Kindergarten
but it was cancelled at the last minutes.
Therefore, we spent our time in the shopping districts on Xiamen with
Dr. Towne. The shopping district was lively as usual. As we went around the shopping district, I have bought many souvenirs including spicy dried fish, black sesame peanuts, chocolates, teas and Xieman dolls. They were not cheap but they had uniqueness of Xiamen, so I needed to purchase them.
After the visit to night market in city of Xiamen, we went to the seafood restaurant that we went on day 6. We ordered similar ingredients from when we visited on day 6. Of course we ordered deep sea worm, so Dr. Towne could try unique Chinese foods. The foods in seafoood restaurant were great as the ingredients were fresh.
Bonus: On the way back!
